Butt welding machines for thermoplastic pipes are used on construction sites and in production facilities, both to connect pipelines and to produce all kinds of auxiliary equipment for piping systems including: connectors, fittings, elbows, tees, collectors, drains, etc.
Butt welding can be performed on solid, sandwich (e.g. pre-insulated) or chamber pipes made of made of e.g. PE, HDPE, PP, PVC, PVDF. As a rule, the welding process is carried out in cycles: preheating and alignment of facing walls, welding, cooling. Depending on the model and additional equipment, the process can be carried out manually or automatically, also in accordance with the programs based on DVS guidelines.
