Heting machine for bending thermoplastic sheet

This series of machines, created for heating thermoplastic sheets, is particularly suitable for bending extremely thick sheets, up to 15-20 mm. Heating takes place by radiancy without contact, in an even, localized way, by means of quartz-clad tubular resistors. The Piegacryl-Multipiegacryl is made of a strong bearing structure, housing two metric guides on which the heating set (lower and upper heating units) and the reference square for piece positioning are placed.

Each heating unit consists of one resistance with two sheet supporting sections at the sides, cooled by water circulation (handwheel adjustment of the opening symmetrically 0 to 60 mm handwheel) in order to create a localized, even heating zone on the piece. Starting and heat adjustment (0-800°) are independent for each unit. The upper unit can be detached and placed parallel with the lower unit. Position the sheets to be bent, set the heating time on a timer, start up the cycle by pressing a push-button or pedal (descent of upper heating unit and piece locking with automatic release at end of cycle), take the piece out and let it cool on template, to obtain the bending angle required. On request the machine can be supplied complete with electric water cooler
