Today, most water, wastewater and rainwater transportation systems are made of plastic pipes with diameter up to 4,5 m. Processing large diameter pipes requires extreme precision and compliance with safety regulations.
RIEXINGER large diameter pipe cutting machines are designed to meet requirements of modern production processes. Almost entire cutting cycle is computer-controlled and employee involvement is limited to monitoring the machine in operation.

Setting up standards in the industry
Comparing to conventional solutions for cutting large-diameter pipes, cutting with Riexinger GR-series band saw results in to 50-60% time savings. Machined surfaces are fine finished, don’t require further processing and guarantee perfect fitting. Thanks to possibility of using various types of cutting tapes, Riexinger saws perfectly process almost every type of material (plastic, composite etc) with wall thickness ranging from few mm to over 140 mm.

Each GR- series saw is operated via. large touch screen control panel. Operator inputs parameters for subsequent cutting steps by selecting appropriate symbols.
RIEXINGER sets new standard for maintenance and saw blade replacement in terms of safety and servicing time. Normally, changing saw blades in a large saw is a time-consuming and complicated process, that requires lifting devices, ladders and proper tools. With Riexinger saws, the arm can be lowered easily, without a need of external crane or hoist.

V-cut on the main pipe for T-piece
V-cut on the outlet pipe for T-piece
90° straight cut for cutting pipes to length or for pipe end machining
67.5°/22.5° cut on the outlet pipe to create Y-pieces
